1. Information stored on your device

World Clock stores settings, favorites, histories, cached information, and feature results on your device so the app can work as expected. This can include locations, map conversions, flight information, calculations, and local-network device details.

The app does not require an account, and the developer does not operate a server that receives this app content. Information leaves the app only when you choose to export or share it, or when an optional online feature needs to contact its provider.

You can remove histories from their related features and clear cached information in Settings › Cache. Deleting the app removes its local app data, subject to Apple’s device and backup behavior.

2. Location and online features

If you grant location permission, World Clock can use your device location to provide local time, coordinates, weather, nearby information, maps, satellite views, and related calculations. You can change this permission at any time in iOS Settings.

Some optional features use third-party services. Their respective privacy policies apply. When you use one of these features, your device may send information needed for the request, such as coordinates, a place name, a search term, or technical connection information.

3. Map-link conversion and speed test

World Clock first tries to convert map links directly. If a short link does not expose a precise location, the app may ask whether you want to view the result on the web. The integrated page is operated by the relevant provider, and any choices or interactions there are made directly by you.

The optional speed test also opens a third-party service in an integrated web page. Website data created by these pages can be removed through Settings › Cache › Other data.

4. Local-network scanner

If you allow local-network access, the Wi-Fi scanner can discover and inspect devices reachable from your current network. Scan results, names, custom icons, history, and saved credentials remain on your device unless you explicitly export or share them.

5. Advertising and tracking

World Clock contains no advertising, does not request an advertising identifier, and does not use developer analytics or cross-app tracking. The developer does not sell personal information.

6. This website

This website is static and uses no cookies, advertising, analytics, tracking pixels, or external fonts. Opening an external link takes you to that provider only after you select it.

The website is hosted by Aruba. Aruba may process ordinary technical request information, such as IP address, date, requested file, and browser user agent, for delivery, security, and server logs under its own terms.
